Praiseworthy traits
Siddiq Wahid also discussed admirable qualities (virtue) in some of his writing. Praiseworthy traits or he is talking about is as follows exposure.
1. Tafakkur and Tawbah
Tafakkur is thought that contains recognition and regret the mistakes and repent of all sin. How long vigil he says, is to read two sentences Shahadah slowly and appreciate its meaning. Furthermore, do three things in tafakkur namely:
1.1. 'Ibrah, namely finding fault with yourself, regret, and promised never to do it again works.
1.2. Khawf, which is the fear of God's wrath and punishment and the fear of not being accepted charity.
1.3. King ', the hope of the grace and mercy of God, and hope to welcome all deeds.
2. Al-Zuhd
Eternal life is the life in the hereafter, while living in the world should be a provision to the afterlife. Furthermore, he warns that life should not be fooled and deceived the world.
3. Resignation
Tawakal is surrendered. In his verse lyric "surrender not regret" may be willing to what God Almighty. The explanation is in line with the opinion of Al-Hafi Bishr Al-Qushayri quoted saying "I put their trust in Allah., While others lie to him. If he had put their trust in Allah., Then surely he is willing to do what the (desired) by Allah ".
4. SHABAR
People need to always be patient, be patient in using delicious, patient compliance and avoid doing disobedience, and be patient in receiving trial or things that are not desirable. Siddiq Wahid suggested that they must be patient and resist angry, because the nature of the patient brought many mamfaat
Further explained, that people who do not have the property will be easily overcome by nature impatient anger. According to him, there are some disadvantages as a result of the nature of anger. First, lost my mind and soul balance, so it would be wrong in its attitude and action. Second, the loss or reduction of one's faith. Third, the loss of friends.
5. Ikhlash and away from riya
Ikhlash is clean charity to God, and this trait is a requirement to get the reward of deeds. He divides Ikhlash in two kinds, namely al-abrar Ikhlash and Ikhlash al-muqarrabin. Ikhlash al-abrar one charity is due solely to uphold the commands of Allah. without expecting anything other than God, including not expect heaven and pleaded not kept out of the fire of hell. While al-muqarrabin Ikhlash is someone doing a good deed, but does not recognize and do not feel that deeds-deeds as ikhtiarnya effort, even in ma'rifatnya everything that is solely the deeds of God and His Taufik. Ikhlash al-abrar called Ikhlash li Allah (sincerely for Allah), while al-muqarrabin Ikhlash called Ikhlash bi Allah (sincere with God's help). Ikhlash al-muqarrabin a sense Ikhlash viewed by scholars of Sufism, where the Sufi says that Ikhlash is to move away from the power and effort. If someone can come up with sincerity ranked second, then he will be spared from the nature of riya 'ujub, and sum'ah
In his book Treatise fi Aqaid Iman al-Siddiq Wahid riya divided into two kinds, namely riya jali (obvious) and riya silent (hidden). Riya jali is someone doing a good deed in the presence of others, but if he was not doing good deeds alone. Riya silent while someone is a good deed in the presence of others or not, but she likes when they are in front of him.
Sum'ah, was a charity alone then he menghabarkannya to others, that they may raise or so she got out of their virtues. The 'ujub is someone surprised the skill and prowess. For example, an 'abid amazed by his worship, or a pious amazed by his knowledge.
6. Tawadhu'dan takabbur away.
Tawadhu properties indicate the presence of mind and breadth of view, and contrary nature shows pettiness takabbur minds. He stressed that the arrogant nature is prohibited by Allah SWT .. People say arrogant as an escape, so it is incorporated into the fires of hell.
7. Gratitude and Ridha
Siddiq Wahid suggested that the servant of God is always pleased to qadha God, and always be grateful for His blessings and the trials of his patience. Gratitude is deliciously obtained using the path pleasing to Allah SWT. Man should be grateful for the gift of God, of His good pleasure of the provisions, as well as patient trials to bear, for that one should husn al-zhan to God. Then he divides husn al-zhan to four parts. First, one prejudice that God loves him. Second, the prejudice that God knows all my faults. Third, the prejudice that God forgives all sins. And fourth, the prejudice that everything is easy for Allah.
8. Siddiq
Siddiq Wahid emphasized the importance shiddiq (right) in the day-to-day behavior, always right in every word and deed.
8. Mahabbah
In his book Asrar al-Prayer min 'Iddat Pole al-Mu'tamadah said: "The legal requirements that faith, of which love of God Almighty. and love the Prophet. "Mahabbah to God is the one who always did tafakkur and dhikrullah.
9. Zikr al-Death
Everyone needs to be aware of and menginsyapi the existence of death. Awareness of impending death, is the driving force for a person to work hard to do things that benefit and avoid harm in the afterlife.
In his teachings about Tawbah, ascetic, trust, SHABAR, pleasure, Shidiq, mahabbah, dhikr al-death, and other praiseworthy qualities. Doctrine Tawbah and others were called orders (roads) that complements Shariah and ta'alluq (dependent) in the liver and implicated in behavior. Thus, according to Siddiq Wahid; teaching Tawbah, ascetic, trust, SHABAR, pleasure, Shidiq, mahabbah, dhikr al-death and other admirable traits is ethical or moral values that will be championed and implemented by a servant in reaching spiritual perfection in worship practices.
Short Biography:
Siddiq Wahid al Banjari is a scholar, preachers, educators, farmers, the Mufti of the Kingdom of Indragiri, author and teacher in the Grand Mosque (Mecca). His full name Siddiq Sheikh Abdurrahman bin Haji Muhammad Afif bin Haji Mahmud bin Haji Jamaluddin Anang Kyai Dipa Sprott bin Ahmad bin fardi bin Jamaluddin bin Ahmad al-Banjari. He was born in 1284 H/1857 M., Kampong In Martapura Fences, Banjar regency, South Kalimantan Propensi. His mother named Safura binti Haji Shaykh Mufti Shaykh Mufti Muhammad Arsyad bin Haji Muhammad As'ad. He is a descendant of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Banjari Arsyad, a scholar who owned archipelago in the 18th century
Siddiq Wahid to study in Mecca in 1889 AD, from the results of other studies it is possible he went to Mecca in 1882/1883 AD. In Mecca Siddiq Wahid studied Islamic sciences with leading scholars, both in and outside the Grand Mosque mosque. Among the many teachers who provide motivation and guidance is Shaykh Sayyid al-Bakri Shata ", Sheikh Sayid Bahasyil and Sheikh Nawawi al Banteni.
